♥ October Movies ♥

The Intern - 5/10 - This movie was a feel good movie which made you sympathise and understand what retirement was really about and made me consider if I ever actually want to retire! The storyline did not have much going on it was just about an old retired man who wanted a job as an intern to fulfil his life whilst helping his boss with her own life. It was strange to see Robert DiNero as an old retired man I'm used to the harder faced characters he plays but it was good all the same.

Sicario - 3/10 - When looking at other reviews this film is rated quite highly and everyone seemed to have enjoyed it but it just was not for me. I feel like the storyline was a little jumbled and I could not make full sense of it. There were good action parts and other parts which just dragged on and I was bored by the whole thing. I am not one for army movies anyway so each to their own.

Crimson Peak - 4/10 - I was very much looking forward to this movie as it looked as if it had art work like a comic book with the dress code and the haunted house. I was in love with the décor and the make up. Sadly I was very let down by the storyline, it started off really entertaining and a typical love story but you cannot perceive a haunted house to be romantic.

The Last Witch Hunter 3/10 - Disappointment at its best. I loved Vin Diesels movies such as Pitch Black and Riddick but this one was atrocious. It could have had such potential but it was too much like Beautiful Creatures for me. I loved the idea of the witches and some of the spells but sadly the storyline was not up to scratch. It was all a little too bland a slow for my tasting. In fact I was actually falling asleep mid movie!

Bond Spectre 8/10 - I have not seen all of the Bond movies I admit (SORRY!) but I have seen a fair few and have enjoyed the ones I have seen. I was shocked to actually still see Daniel Craig portraying Bond as he is getting on a little but he still does it perfectly. It also starred Christoph Waltz who is a number one favourite of mine I love his acting and his voice (dreamboat). I also loved the female interest in this movie as it was Lea Seydoux who is so very beautiful and was a little more tomboyish which I enjoyed. There was however a lack in the Bond usual gadgets and the action packed scenes but nonetheless I still enjoyed it and am prepared to see who the new James Bond could be! (Henry Cavil ... yes please)
