♥ June Movies ♥

June was a very eventful month for me. I had a small holiday of 5 days in Disneyland Paris which was fantastic and really want to go back again. On the weekends that we had spare we squashed in some movies that were out during the month. May I say that this month was not very good for movie releases I feel like there has not been anything good in the cinema for a while now apart from the odd 1 or 2 movies that are worth watching.

Spy 10/10 - When I saw that this movie was coming out starring Melissa McCarthy, Rose Byrne and Jason Statham I knew I had to see it. I was not 100% sure about it comedy wise but I was pleasantly surprised and actually really enjoyed the movie I thought it was hilarious. The jokes were up to date and very funny for all ages. The storyline was a little typical about a spy having to go undercover but the jokes around it were very funny and it made Melissa McCarthy shine as an actress and how funny she can really be. You can tell that she is naturally funny and that some of it may even be improvised. I was a little unsure about Jason Statham in a comedy but he was actually one of the funniest characters in the movie.  I will be buying this movie when it comes out on DVD.

Entourage - 7/10 - I admit I only saw this movie because there was literally nothing on in the cinema that I had not seen or wanted to see. I thought the movie sounded terrible actually and was not looking forward to it at all. It started very slowly and I thought I had made a massive mistake even choosing the movie but as it went on it actually got quite funny and I enjoyed the majority of it. The storyline was very boring about an actor who wanted to direct his own movie. yawn. There was quite a few cameos in the movie and some of them I didn't even recognise. I wouldn't watch it again probably but it was watchable. When I got home I then realised that the movie was actually a TV show so I hadn't seen any of it and it made me understand some of the jokes a little more when reading into it. Might have to give the TV series a try now that I have seen the movie.

Knock Knock - 1/10 - Saw this movie because yet again I had nothing to watch and it was quite late so decided to go to the cinema. This was probably one of THE worst movies I have ever seen in the cinema. I honestly wanted to walk out but just couldn't be bothered. I was falling asleep during the screening to be honest. The storyline was very much like Funny Games or Fatal Attraction but a lot worse. It was extremely slow going and had nothing going about it. Some parts seemed like a comedy because it was bad. I honestly felt like I could act better than that. Keanu Reeves yet again does a terrible movie was god awful acting which made me cringe throughout. I would not see it again and highly recommend that nobody else does.

Jurassic World - 10/10 - I had not actually seen the the Jurassic Park movies in years and only seen parts of them really as dinosaur movies are not really my forte if I had to choose a movie. I saw the movie in the SKY Superscreen at the O2 which was huge and very very loud honestly it was a little too loud for me! I was very surprised by how much I enjoyed this movie. I was quickly enticed and loved the effects and camera work.  The stroyline was pretty much the same as the other movies just better effects and better looking characters. Chris Pratt looked fantastic and very toned he suited the part perfectly as did Bryce Dallas Howard who looked stunning in the all white with her perfectly done hair even in the scenes when she is supposed to be all roughed up she still looked amazing. I would highly recommend anybody seeing this movie it is fun for all ages and very gripping. I was glued to the screen within 5 minutes. It was nice to see Jake Johnson in this movie doing his usual character (if anybody has seen New Girl you will know he is literally just Nick). I think the movie has not let itself down it has really shown it can keep up and it was worth the long wait.
